Activation Plan – Yours to Keep

- What this is

Not a Conference.
Not a Retreat.

A hands-on, experiential learning environment where participants practice, plan, and build real wellness initiatives they can implement immediately

Chronic disease prevention cannot be solved by facilities alone. It requires leadership, engagement, consistency, and accountability.

This training equips tribal staff and wellness leaders with practical, proven methods that work in real communities — not theory. You leave with a written 30-Day Wellness Activation Plan ready to execute on day one back home.

- What we Focus on

Step Away
To Build Something Bigger

Oahu provides the space to think differently, collaborate deeply, and design wellness strategies that strengthen Native communities but you are not just paying for 4 days in Hawaii.

You are paying for a 3-month guided implementation program that starts in Oahu.

- FAQ

Before you apply

Yes. Many participants use professional development funds, tribal health department budgets, or wellness initiative grants to cover registration. We can provide an invoice or documentation to support your funding request. Reach out to adminteam@nativefitness.org and we’ll get you what you need.

This event will take place once a minimum of 10 participants have secured their spots (with a maximum of 20 total attendees). As soon as the event is confirmed, we’ll send you an email giving you the green light to book travel and lodging.

If we don’t reach the minimum, the event will simply be canceled and you’ll receive a full refund—no hassle.

Have questions? We’re happy to help!

Contact us at adminteam@nativefitness.org or (541) 612-7883.

Your registration covers three full days of programming at the Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach (June 7–10), all meals during the event, your workshop materials, and a 3-month guided implementation period after you return home — so the work doesn’t stop when the circle does. What’s not included: your flights, hotel accommodations, and any personal travel expenses. We’ve chosen a centrally located property to keep your stay straightforward and affordable.

Twenty people. That’s the cap — by design. Attendees are tribal wellness directors, health department leads, fitness program coordinators, and Native community leaders who are actively running or building wellness initiatives. This isn’t a general wellness conference. Everyone in the room is doing the work or responsible for it. Expect real conversations, not keynote theater.

None. This is a leadership event, not a fitness retreat. You don’t need to be an athlete, a trainer, or even work out regularly. You need to care about what’s happening in Native wellness communities and want to do something about it. Show up ready to think, connect, and build.

Cancellations made 30 or more days before the event (on or before May 7, 2026) receive a full refund. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable, but your registration is transferable to another qualified participant from your organization or community. If we need to cancel or postpone the event for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund. Questions? Contact us at adminteam@nativefitness.org or (541) 612-7883.
