- FAQ

Before you apply

Yes. Many participants use professional development funds, tribal health department budgets, or wellness initiative grants to cover registration. We can provide an invoice or documentation to support your funding request. Reach out to adminteam@nativefitness.org and we’ll get you what you need.

Your registration covers three full days of programming at the Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach (October 25-28), all meals during the event, your workshop materials, and a 3-month guided implementation period after you return home — so the work doesn’t stop when the circle does. What’s not included: your flights, hotel accommodations, and any personal travel expenses. We’ve chosen a centrally located property to keep your stay straightforward and affordable.

Built for the people running the programs.

  • Tribal Wellness Staff
  • Community Health Reps
  • Youth Coordinators
  • Recreation Staff
  • Behavioral Health Programs
  • HR/Employee Wellness Coordinators
  • Tribal Leaders in Preventative Health Initiatives

Twenty people. That’s the cap — by design. Attendees are tribal wellness directors, health department leads, fitness program coordinators, and Native community leaders who are actively running or building wellness initiatives. This isn’t a general wellness conference. Everyone in the room is doing the work or responsible for it. Expect real conversations, not keynote theater.

None. This is a leadership event, not a fitness retreat. You don’t need to be an athlete, a trainer, or even work out regularly. You need to care about what’s happening in Native wellness communities and want to do something about it. Show up ready to think, connect, and build.

Cancellations made 30 or more days before the event (on or before September 25, 2026) receive a full refund. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable, but your registration is transferable to another qualified participant from your organization or community. If we need to cancel or postpone the event for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund. Questions? Contact us at adminteam@nativefitness.org or (541) 612-7883.

THIS IS THE MOMENT TO ACT
