Oʻahu Island Experience Guide
The Bio
Some Guides Show You Hawaiʻi. Avery Helps You Experience It.
A crowd favorite known for her warmth, energy, and sense of fun, Avery has a gift for bringing the island to life—sharing its wildlife, landscapes, and unforgettable details in a way that leaves people seeing Oʻahu differently.
Avery is Native American and earned her degree in biology while living and studying in Hawaiʻi, where she also worked as an island guide and marine biology student teacher. She has led horseback and UTV tours, surfed Hawaiʻi's waves, snorkeled throughout the islands, and swum alongside sand sharks, whitetips, blacktips, and tiger sharks—including Hawaiʻi's largest known tiger shark. She also helped restore native Hawaiian forests by planting indigenous trees as part of a reforestation project.
Whether she's pointing out island wildlife or introducing you to the incredible fragrance of pua kenikeni—her favorite flower for lei—Avery brings curiosity, joy, and the spirit of aloha to every adventure.
